How to Prepare for TEF Canada in 6 Months
The Test d'Évaluation de Français (TEF) is one of the most important French proficiency exams for Canadian immigration. A good score can significantly boost your Express Entry profile or support your application for Canadian citizenship. With the right strategy, you can prepare effectively in just six months.
Month 1–2: Build Your Foundation
Start with DELF A1 and A2 level grammar and vocabulary. Focus on everyday communication — greetings, shopping, directions, and basic conversations. At Vaakriti, our A1–A2 combined course (₹16,000) covers this in 120 hours, available in both weekday and weekend batches.
Month 3–4: Intermediate Skills
Move to B1 level. This is where you learn to express opinions, discuss current events, and handle workplace scenarios. Our French B1 course (₹18,000) includes daily speaking practice and culture sessions that make learning immersive.
Month 5: TEF-Specific Preparation
Now focus on the four TEF modules: Listening (Compréhension Orale), Speaking (Expression Orale), Reading (Compréhension Écrite), and Writing (Expression Écrite). Practice with official TEF sample papers and timed mock tests.
Month 6: Mock Tests & Final Review
Take at least four full-length mock tests under exam conditions. Review your mistakes and work on weak areas. Our TEF Canada course (₹45,000) includes 280 hours of intensive training with targeted exam strategies.
